[Source - Henry Fagan for FHYA, 2022: Written by Edwin W. Smith in English before 1929. An abrided version of the text called Aggrey the African was produced by Charles Kingsley Willams before 1933. Williams' text was then translated into isiXhosa by S.E.K. Mqhayi before 1935. It was published by The Sheldon Press in London in 1935. A copy was acquired by UCT Libraries at an unknown date. It was digitised by the FHYA in December 2011 and uploaded by Benathi Marufu for FHYA in February 2022.]
